A message from Kevin Greene, Redwood Software CEO

This week, we announced that Gartner® named Redwood Software a Leader, positioned furthest in Completeness of Vision and highest in Ability to Execute, in the 2025 Magic Quadrant™ for Service Orchestration and Automation Platforms (SOAP) report.

In addition, I’m excited to share that Redwood was ranked first in all five Use Cases in the 2025 Gartner Critical Capabilities for SOAP report.

I believe these #1 rankings are a powerful validation of our product strategy and investments. In our opinion, they reflect our singular focus on building automation fabrics that deliver transformative results for our customers, no matter the challenge.

Redwood’s recognition in the Gartner Critical Capabilities report

“As an essential companion to the Gartner Magic Quadrant, this methodology provides deeper insight into providers’ product and service offerings by extending the Magic Quadrant analysis. Use this research to further investigate product and service ratings based on key capabilities set to important, differentiating use cases.”*

The Critical Capabilities research includes rankings for Use Cases: IT Workload Automation, IT Workflow Orchestration, Data Orchestration, Citizen Automation and DevOps Automation.

Redwood ranked first in five out of five Use Cases.

IT workload automation

For the second year in a row, Redwood received the highest score in this Use Case: 4.33 out of 5.

Vendors Product Scores for IT Workload Automation Use Case

Gartner defines IT workload automation (IT operations persona) as follows: “Automating planning, execution, management and reporting of IT workloads across enterprise systems.”

We believe this ranking reflects the broad power of our composable automation platform to integrate and manage diverse technologies across the hybrid enterprise. Available as native SaaS for the lowest total cost of ownership (TCO) or self-hosted on-premises or in the cloud, Redwood’s flagship workload automation platform delivers the deployment flexibility enterprise customers require. Extensive auditing capabilities, an expansive connector catalog and comprehensive APIs ensure unmatched reliability and business continuity for even the most complex workloads.

IT workflow orchestration

For the second year in a row, Redwood received the highest score in this Use Case: 4.43 out of 5.

Vendors Product Scores for IT Workflow Orchestration Use Case

Gartner defines IT workflow orchestration (IT operations persona) as follows: “Defining, executing and reporting on IT workflows across diverse IT and enterprise systems.”

We feel this score highlights our strength in orchestrating intricate dependencies across disparate systems. Redwood’s extensive library of pre-built certified connectors eliminates custom scripting, enabling users to visually build and manage complex, end-to-end workflows while centralizing control and visibility. This is further enhanced by the advanced monitoring and observability capabilities: a unified view of process health and performance with built-in AI troubleshooting. Extending this functionality via Redwood Insights, teams can view their entire orchestration ecosystem, from performance to configuration, to diagnose root causes, optimize workflows and track compliance. The result: seamless service delivery and optimal operational control.

Data orchestration

Redwood received the highest score in this Use Case: 4.43 out of 5.

Vendors Product Scores for Data Orchestration Use Case

Gartner defines data orchestration (DataOps persona) as follows: “Planning, executing, managing and reporting on data-focused workloads like ETL/ELT and reporting for data use cases.”

We believe our #1 score in this Use Case demonstrates the power of Redwood solutions to unify and manage complex data pipelines from ingestion to reporting. Redwood provides the flexibility to connect to any data source or application and gives DataOps teams the end-to-end visibility required to ensure effective data management and that key information is timely, accurate and readily available for the business.

Citizen automation

For the second year in a row, Redwood received the highest score in this Use Case: 4.45 out of 5.

Vendors Product Scores for Citizen Automation Use Case 1

Gartner defines citizen automation (business user persona) as follows: “Enabling end-users to develop and execute curated automations under IT governance.”

We feel this score represents Redwood’s commitment to empowering business teams and subject-matter experts to create and manage their own automation solutions safely. Our customizable and intuitive user interface includes a visual, low-code automation design studio, which allows teams to abstract away complexity, while centralized IT governance ensures every user-built automation is secure and reliable. To further accelerate this process, Redwood’s new AI assistant provides instant, context-aware guidance, allowing users to find answers and build processes faster than ever.

DevOps automation

Redwood received the highest score in this Use Case: 4.35 out of 5.

Vendors Product Scores for DevOps Automation Use Case scaled

Gartner defines DevOps automation (DevOps/SRE persona) as follows: “Developing and testing automation workflows to support product delivery via DevOps tools and practices.”

We believe this recognition highlights how seamlessly Redwood integrates into the software development lifecycle (SDLC). DevOps teams can define, version, test and promote automation workflows just like any other application code, accelerating release cycles and improving collaboration between development and operations.

A Redwood thank you… https://www.redwood.com/article/a-redwood-thank-you/ Wed, 18 Dec 2024 15:02:09 +0000 https://staging.marketing.redwood.com/?p=34899 This week, we officially closed on Vista Equity Partners and Warburg Pincus acquisition of Redwood Software.

Typically, this calls for a communication from the CEO, in this case me, that lists all the buzzword-friendly benefits of such a financing. To be clear, there are many. However, I’d rather take this moment to thank all of you who have made this possible through your dedication, your hard work and your belief in what we are trying to accomplish as One Team, One Redwood.

To all of our Redwoodians around the world, thank you. From the day I joined this team, you have been amazing. You rolled with the changes. You rolled up your sleeves. You asked what would have to be true for it to be possible, and then you made it possible. I have never worked with a global team who could pull together like you have to bring our vision, mission and values to life on a daily basis. You proved that there truly are no limits to what we can achieve if we empower, support and root for each other. It’s a true privilege to call each of you my teammate.

To all of our customers. Everywhere. Large and small — thank you for your trust and partnership. We are nothing without you. Because you have committed to the transformative power of automation, we exist. Together, we will change everything about how and why people work. By building automation fabrics, we will provide the freedom and the time for your teammates to imagine and define a better future. Fundamentally, that’s why we believe automation has the power to unleash human potential.

To Turn/River. Thank you for your years of support. For giving me the opportunity to work with an amazing group of people, and for the resources we needed to make our vision a reality. I have learned more in the last three years than the last 25 years combined, and that’s largely in part to your mentorship and coaching style. I firmly believe Turn/River is on the path to becoming one of the great firms of our generation.

And to our new financial partners at Vista Equity Partners and Warburg Pincus. Thank you for seeing the potential of what is being created here and investing in our future. We could not have asked for better partners anywhere in the world to back Redwood’s next chapter. We all look forward to rewarding your faith in us.

And so begins a new Redwood era. It has been three decades in the making. But when you look at the technologies that changed the world, from the steam engine to AI, there is always a company at the forefront, driving the revolution. In the case of automation, it’s us. All of us. Together. As One Team, One Redwood.

Have a safe and wonderful holiday. And rest up. Because we’re changing the world in 2025.

Unleashing human potential — The Redwood vision https://www.redwood.com/article/unleashing-human-potential-the-redwood-vision/ Mon, 11 Sep 2023 08:58:21 +0000 https://staging.marketing.redwood.com/?p=32170 One of the main reasons I came to Redwood Software in January of 2022 was because I saw the opportunity the technology and the space presented. Helping companies automate mission-critical business processes was exciting to me. As I went about getting to know my new teammates, and learning more and more about what we did, it became clear the focus of our organization was exactly where it should be: on our customers. And how we could help them solve a current or near-term future challenges.

  • How can we help our customers orchestrate their mission-critical business processes to achieve optimal business outcomes?
  • How can we tie our various products together to provide a better customer experience?
  • How can we compose better automations for critical business processes like payroll?
  • How can we help turn order to cash faster?
  • How? How? How?

The focus was laser-like.

It didn’t matter if I was talking to engineers, customer success, product or sales. The discussions were fascinating. The possibilities seemed endless.

On the one hand, this made me extremely happy. To come into an organization that was about to celebrate its 30th year in business and find such a consistent thread running throughout was rare. But the question I wanted an answer to now was, “Why”? Why, beyond the obvious things automating critical business processes can accomplish — like improving efficiency, monitoring and reporting — why did our clients come to Redwood? It all felt a little tactical. A little too practical. To be clear, that’s not necessarily a bad thing. But I’m a firm believer that if you want every employee to wake up every day excited to work, to try to move the company forward and change the future, you need a universal purpose. You need a vision. Something you can strive for every day to try to make real, even if it may be so bold you might never get there.

So, I kept asking, “Why.”

The most consistent answer was some version of, “We help automate the repetitive, mundane tasks no one wants to do.” Clearly, this is true. It’s also not very inspiring. But it was a step toward figuring out our bigger purpose. So, I kept digging. And the team kept thinking. The more I listened, the more I learned. The more we talked about it, the more it became obvious that we weren’t really in the automation business. Rather, we were in the freedom business. What we actually do is provide people with freedom of mind and time to focus on bigger things—personally and professionally, rather than repetitive tasks. We allow people to get out of the weeds and see the forest. Our automation solutions allow people to reimagine how they will spend their time, not just working, but in their personal life as well, which is incredibly important in what is now the new work reality — remote, hybrid, global. As a company, we believe in the transformative power of automation. Not just how it can transform a process or a business or even an industry. But how it can transform the humans involved. Their job. Their career. Their life. Simply put, we unleash human potential.

Is that the reality of today? Sometimes. But far from always. At the moment, too often it seems when one mundane task is automated, another one takes its place. That isn’t exactly unleashing potential. But I think most of us have been conditioned to live in the weeds. To work down instead of up. I don’t believe that has to be the case. I don’t think that’s the best use of time, and I really think how people spend their time is a driving force of fulfillment. The problem is, we are often faced with a choice between what we want to do, and what we have to do. The mundane, at least when it comes to work, tends to take up our time. It is the thing we feel we have to do. Our vision is to change that. To make the default choice doing what you want to do, not what you have to.

There is a lot of work ahead, but this is what drives us. It’s exciting. It’s bold. And it’s motivating. Without a doubt, I see a very bright future for automation and what it can do for businesses. But more importantly, I think the future of humans who take advantage of automation, is even brighter.

See the forest – Redwood’s new brand identity https://www.redwood.com/article/new-brand-identity/ Mon, 17 Jul 2023 21:00:03 +0000 https://staging.marketing.redwood.com/?p=31847 unleashing human potential. We even made this foundational belief our company vision,]]> While I have only been at Redwood Software for about 12 months, our company is celebrating its 30th year in 2023! Over the last three decades, Redwood has helped thousands of companies automate their most critical business processes, helping to transform their organizations, freeing their valued employees from mundane tasks to focus on bigger, more fulfilling, strategic initiatives.

This is why we dedicate ourselves to unleashing human potential. We even made this foundational belief our company vision, and last year began an effort to revamp our entire brand — from vision, mission and values through to our product offerings, messaging, logo and brand identity. It was time. Technology has changed dramatically. The industry has evolved. The needs of our customers have changed. And so have we. But our branding, particularly our logo, hadn’t for the better part of 25 years.

We want our brand to reflect who we are today — the leader in full stack automation for mission-critical business processes. We got here by being 100% focused on automation. We are the first SaaS-based composable automation platform specifically built for ERP. We provide unparalleled solutions that empower our customers to orchestrate, manage and monitor workflows across any application, service or server — in the cloud or on premises — with confidence and control. Our global team of automation experts and customer success engineers provide solutions and world-class support day and night. Our company is named after one of the greatest living things on the planet — the Redwood tree. It embodies strength, resilience, adaptability and incredible scale.

But our brand identity didn’t convey any of this. It didn’t even suggest it. Which is why we set off on the task of better capturing the essence of Redwood.

LOGO REVEAL 1

We looked at our branding and determined what elements should be carried forward. Our primary red color was one of those. It’s a nod to our history and our name. It’s a powerful color, helping make our new logo pop and our brand stand out from the crowd. The new logo itself is simple and bold. It has the feeling of automation and precise movement. And it also clearly incorporates elements of a redwood tree with slightly rounded branch ends, giving a more organic feel. We liked this for two reasons: 1) It reflects the actual nature of a redwood tree and, 2) maybe more importantly, it makes the logo less rigid, representing the versatility of Redwood automation solutions. It also adds a little sense of art, and we truly believe there is some art to the science of automation. One size definitely does not fit all, which is why we expanded our color palette and fonts for more diversity.

The finished product is a modern and timeless brand reflective of who Redwood is — we are relentlessly focused on full stack automation to give our customers and their employees the freedom and time to imagine and deliver their future. To step back. To get out of the weeds. Take a look around. To see the forest.

RunMyJobs’ roadmap for 2023: Supporting automation trends for the future https://www.redwood.com/article/runmyjobs-roadmap-for-2023-supporting-automation-trends-for-the-future/ Fri, 12 May 2023 12:31:59 +0000 https://staging.marketing.redwood.com/?p=31625 IT trends in a recent webinar. Customers rely on RunMyJobs to handle all their mission-critical business processes, and Redwood created its full stack automation solutions to support organizations today and into the future. ]]> RunMyJobs by Redwood has an exciting product roadmap for this year. It continues the company’s investment in its industry-leading, cloud-native workload automation solution.

Abhijit Kakhandiki, Chief Product Officer for Redwood Software, shared the company’s vision and how it applies to today’s IT trends in a recent webinar. Customers rely on RunMyJobs to handle all their mission-critical business processes, and Redwood created its full stack automation solutions to support organizations today and into the future.

Full stack automation

Redwood believes in a world where any company is able to automate all its IT and business processes, end to end, regardless of complexity or underlying tech stack. With this ability, organizations can free up their most valuable resource — people. They can be redeployed to work on critical growth issues that will help the business meet its goals and be successful.

RunMyJobs wants to empower companies to automate and reimagine work by creating, distributing and helping consume composable automation solutions using its platform. It delivers automation of mission-critical processes in a secure, compliant and reliable manner.

In order to help customers achieve this vision, RunMyJobs has to accomplish two things:

  1. Offer a lower barrier to automation: With RunMyJobs, automation is intuitive and easy to use for more junior IT resources and business users. Automation is no longer solely in the hands of an organization’s software developers. Now automation can be spread rapidly across the company.
  2. Scale with organizational goals and drive business outcomes: To be successful, IT teams need to keep up with requirements from business stakeholders and automate enough processes to reach critical mass. As users work with RunMyJobs’ purpose-built automation solutions every day, they’ll be able to see and track their progress toward their goals, creating long-term engagement.

RunMyJobs is designed to evolve with the changing tech infrastructure. As organizations move from a suite approach to best-in-breed solutions, the use of applications has increased 20x in the past 15 years. Couple this with the move from on-premises to the cloud as well as the move from servers to virtual machines to containers to serverless architecture, and IT leaders need an agile solution to provide powerful end-to-end business process automation.

To be successful, an automation platform needs to automate at three layers — applications, middleware and infrastructure. In addition, the platform needs to be easy to adopt, so more users across IT and the business can automate more processes faster. The platform also requires an application development approach to automation where users can create modular, reusable components which allow them to compose automation solutions on top of the platform.

Redwood has embraced this approach and created additional automation solutions, like its Finance Automation by Redwood product, which allows users to close their financial books in as little as four days. RunMyJobs’ full stack automation works across all layers, applications, middleware and infrastructure for maximum coverage.

Automation trends

To understand what’s driving the need for automation, organizations need to understand five key trends:

Cloud modernization:

Companies are increasingly embracing the cloud to more easily manage their infrastructure and are moving from on-premises to SaaS applications. As they move to hybrid cloud models, they’re combining compute, networking and storage across public cloud, private cloud and in some cases, multiple public clouds in a multi-cloud environment. This allows organizations to choose the environments that work best for their apps and data while reducing cost and risks.

As a cloud-native platform, RunMyJobs is architected with lightweight agents, central cloud and streamlined product updates. It is highly available and has advanced features like cross-region disaster recovery. This year’s roadmap includes automation dashboards that will provide visibility into automation volume, savings and service levels.

RunMyJobs also offers connectors for a variety of cloud providers, including AWS, Azure and GCP, to help users in their cloud journey. For organizations with managed file transfer needs, Redwood will be releasing its JSCAPE MFT SaaS product in Q2, 2023. Oracle Cloud and Microsoft Business Central will also be addressed.

As more companies move from legacy applications to modern SaaS applications, RunMyJobs is supporting ServiceNow, Oracle Fusion and SAP S/4HANA, with plans to support Workday in the near future. For organizations looking to automate the app inside containers, RunMyJobs has a connector that will work with Amazon ES, Google GKS and Azure ACS with a connector for Docker containers on the roadmap.

Automation at scale:

Companies are automating at scale, since they’ve recognized that automation is key to thriving and competing in today’s business world. With the increasing number of mergers, acquirers are looking to improve their business outcomes quickly. This starts with standardizing business processes, which requires IT teams to have their process blueprints ready. RunMyJobs allows users to create process blueprints that can be standardized quickly across an entire organization.

RunMyJobs facilitates this process by providing an extensive connector catalog. This catalog is updated frequently as new connectors are released every few weeks. Users can access these connectors in the product itself immediately, with no need to wait until the next product update.

The roadmap includes many new connectors, including JD Edwards, CyberArk, PagerDuty, ServiceNow, BMC Remedy and more. For business users that work in apps like Microsoft Teams and Slack, RunMyJobs allows them to initiate and interact with all their automations within those apps. New integrations are also being created for Dell Boomi iPaaS and SAP’s repackaged iFlows to integrate with SAP Cloud. Also on the roadmap are inbound web hooks that invoke RunMyJobs’ platform from other systems to trigger and move automations along. Users can also create connections via a forms-like interface.

Currently, many organizations have integrations spread across EAI systems, BPMS, iPaaS, point solutions and more. RunMyJobs gives you a single point of visibility and control where you can orchestrate all your processes at the application, middleware and infrastructure layers. It supports a variety of triggers, is multi-threaded and has advanced features like asynchronous processing and even manages external systems.

And the final area RunMyJobs is investing in is its support of high-volume, high-throughput automation through the use of advanced features. Processes are easy to create using the low-code, visual drag-and-drop workflow builder and common scripting languages. To take this to the next level, RunMyJobs will be releasing its Process Studio in beta mode. This integrates with our connector catalog, so users can use drag-and-drop templates and connectors in the studio. In the Automation Portal, business users can interact with automations. Finally, the RunMyJobs team is looking to take its current upgrade time of five minutes and reduce that to achieve zero-downtime upgrades.

Data management automation:

Every company is becoming a big data company and wants to unlock the value of its data to get insights so it can continuously learn and improve. As data is being created at an exponential rate, it is siloed in databases, data lakes and data warehouses across the organization.

RunMyJobs integrates with Hadoop, Spark and other cloud data services to ensure you can transform and leverage your data. To continue the product’s data automation services, RunMyJobs is releasing a Data Transformer, which will function as a Swiss Army knife to transform data, but with an Excel-like simplicity.

Organizations can automate and get more value from their existing data by establishing context across various processes and applications. By extracting and transforming data from various sources and loading it into your targets, you can turn this data into insights about your customers, businesses and operation. RunMyJobs can extract data from virtually any source, from generic databases to a data streaming platform like Kafka or technologies like SAP Business Warehouse. Future integrations include Informatica Cloud and Matillion ETL.

For companies that have moved to data fabrics, RunMyJobs has a Snowflake connector and supports data management automation and workflows. The product roadmap has support for Azure Databricks and SAP Data Intelligence Cloud.

RunMyJobs already has several customers using its platform for data management automation. Honeywell is using RunMyJobs to move data from multiple data sources to Snowflake. Stadtwerke Munchen is orchestrating daily data flows to a single target to recommend next best actions. For the call center team, they don’t have to ask customers the same contextual questions repeatedly. AS Watson Group is using RunMyJobs to enable real-time inventory visibility to 20 million SKUs by utilizing Kafka data streaming. These organizations are already seeing the ROI from their automation investments.

Deep ERP automation:

ERP systems are the operational lifeblood of any company, serving as the sole source of truth. They need to be queried, updated and validated against in the course of running multiple processes and by many stakeholders, which requires deep ERP automation.

To best serve multiple processes and teams, automation needs to be built in modular components that can be leveraged by everyone. By setting it up this way, ongoing maintenance and governance is simplified as automation scales. RunMyJobs makes it easy to build components and even create templates and definitions to enable others. It supports native integration technology for SAP R3 and ECC by using remote function call (RFC). RunMyJobs is a trusted partner of SAP and has the broadest and deepest connectors for SAP products. It also supports Oracle, Netsuite and other ERPs.

The product roadmap includes the SAP RISE certification, SAP IBP enhancements, SAP Business Objects, S/4HANA Mass Activities, BTP API Hub Publishing and others. RunMyJobs will also introduce the ability to compose independent business logic on the platform. For organizations moving to S/4HANA, RunMyJobs can help. After prioritizing processes and corresponding data and moving it to S/4HANA, RunMyJobs provides support every step of the way by supporting older technologies so organizations can keep their R3, EC and Netweaver automations running for as long as they want. It makes data migration seamless to ensure an organization’s move to S/4HANA is successful, while extensively supporting SAP technologies to rapidly build and run automations on S/4HANA.

Intelligent automation:

Every system transaction is an opportunity for an organization to learn. Automation, coupled with AI, can help businesses automate more complex tasks, enabling humans to use their expertise to address gray areas.

For RunMyJobs customers, document processing is the most well-known automation use case. Using AI to extract data from scanned documents, it can then be entered into ERPs or other enterprise systems.

To facilitate this process, RunMyJobs offers the AWS TEXTRACT connector, which extracts data from scanned documents and managed file transfers (MFTs) to build a pipeline to process large volumes of documents. Users can also create downstream workflows to enter extracted data into any system. As part of the product roadmap, RunMyJobs will be introducing support for Microsoft Forms and GCP Document AI.

On a broader level, automation can be coupled with AI models that can learn from every transaction. AI models can be used in prediction mode once they are sufficiently trained. This enables businesses to automate more complex processes where human decision making is involved. While AI handles routine cases, it can escalate any outliers to humans to review and make a final decision. For organizations adopting AI, RunMyJobs offers inbound and outbound APIs that can be used to attach and train AI models with plans on the roadmap to support key cloud machine learning services and further streamline the AI prediction workflow.

Powering The Future Of Automation

RunMyJobs already has the integrations, features and services organizations need to automate their execution of the areas covered by these five trends, while the product roadmap demonstrates Redwood’s continued focus on helping businesses achieve their goals.

Organizations looking to maintain their competitive advantage with automation should identify which key areas they want to prioritize and then work with internal stakeholders to determine needs. The RunMyJobs team is always available to answer questions and provide guidance. Contact your account representative to set up a call.

I’ve learned a lot through my time spent with these people, and I want to take this momentous opportunity to share some of the feedback we’ve received along the way about how Redwood has helped catapult businesses to the next level of efficiency and productivity.

Connectivity — Quantity matters, quality rules

Customers who have automated a breadth of processes across various business functions like procurement, supply chain, sales, finance and operations have realized significantly higher business value by reducing costs, gaining operational efficiency and providing better customer service. For this value to be realized, the automation platform needs to be able to connect to a plethora of applications in the enterprise landscape and to make it easy to execute business logic by talking to the applications in a friendly manner. ERP systems are particularly critical since they are the lifeblood of a company‘s operations. Some of the most customer-appreciated aspects of Redwood’s services include:

  • Deep integration with ERPs (e.g., our SAP connector automatically selects the appropriate technology (from RFC to XBP to BAPIs to SOAP, etc.), so customers can focus on business logic rather than wasting time on figuring out technical details.
  • Out-of-the-box connectors that make it easy to “point and connect” to an application, from public cloud services such as Azure Data Factory to SaaS applications such as ServiceNow to mainframe systems like z/OS.
  • Support for a variety of scripting languages already familiar to IT teams used to build business logic and connect to applications, which empowers enterprises to leverage existing IT talent and not depend on augmenting with software engineering resources that may be harder to come by and need significant time to ramp up.

These functions outline how the ease and control with which you can utilize the functionality of your automation platform is paramount right alongside the depth and breadth of the integrations, connections and support it provides.

Composing automations — Simplicity and self-service

As our customers grow and need to scale their automation, a consistent theme we hear is the need for a quick and easy way to create automations. Business users know the process details and can be important stakeholders in initiating and even building parts of the automation. Embracing a more user-friendly approach results in wider adoption and deeper permeation of automation within a company’s overall operations.

Redwood’s low-code implementation and catalog of pre-built automations for quick deployment help simplify the process of creating automations. We also offer Redwood University, a learning platform with on-demand content and certification training for those seeking additional instruction.

There will always be complex automations that IT teams will need to create, but our customers have told us that architecting modular automations that allow reusability and, ultimately, self-service is the secret to scaling effectively. Recently, a customer even walked me through their automation roadmap that consisted of over 120 projects across various processes, functions and business units. There were more than 20 components that could maximize reusability due to overlap, which they keenly referred to as their “automation leverage!”

This proves that simplifying automation creation and enabling customers to leverage reusability and self-service functionality with their platform helps companies realize more value and obtain faster results.

Confident control — Maintaining oversight and operating at scale

The first step in reaping the benefits of automation is ensuring that your automated processes are running smoothly. Our customers tell us that every failed automation equals extra work that takes time away from other, often more critical, tasks. They want rock-solid stability with features that make it easy to proactively predict and identify anomalies and alert them to any impending problems. For example, Redwood’s predictive SLA management feature will warn a customer if an automation is off-track. This level of oversight allows companies to maintain a predictive, well-oiled automation machine that keeps their businesses running without interruption on a daily basis.

Another requirement our customers have told us is necessary for automating their mission-critical processes is being able to operate at scale in order to handle transactions at volume. Some of our customers are running thousands of automated processes every minute! These can include everything from consumer orders flowing in during peak holiday season that need to be mapped to inventory and logistics systems in real-time to running supply chain impact scenarios for thousands of SKUs to account for weather condition changes. Whatever the business process, there will always be situations where the automation platform will be required to step up and perform reliably at high-scale volume.

With Redwood, customers can trust that our automation works at scale and allows for ramping up and settling back down as needed. This validation of operating at scale, along with the ability to maintain oversight over business processes, is what gives customers the confidence to know their automation is providing the service they need to achieve the results they desire.

More automations still to come

Redwood’s latest version of automation powerhouse RunMyJobs by Redwood includes a catalog service that ensures customers have immediate access to new integrations as they are developed and deployed without downtime or waiting for scheduled platform updates. This is a key example of how we listen to what our customers need and deliver results to support their operational efficiency.
